Patience
Let us not become weary in doing good, for
at the proper time we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have
opportunity, let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family
of believers.” Gal 6:9-10
"But if we hope for what we do not
yet have, we wait for it patiently."
Romans 8:25
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently
for him; do not fret when men succeed in
their ways, when they carry out their wicked
schemes; Psalm 37:7
The
end of a matter is better than its beginning,
and patience is better than pride; Ecc 7:8
Forgiveness
The Lord is compassionate and gracious;
slow to anger, abounding in love. He will
not always accuse, nor will he harbor his
anger forever; he does not treat us as our
sins deserve, or repay us according to our
iniquities; Psalm 103:8-10
Therefore, as God’s chosen people,
holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves
with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness
and patience. Bear with each other and forgive
whatever grievances you may have against
one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave
you; Colossians 3:12-14
This is what you are to say to Joseph: I
ask you to forgive your brothers the sins
and the wrongs they committed in treating
you so badly. Now please forgive the sins
of the servants of the God of your father;
& hellip; Gen 50:17
For if you forgive men when they sin against
you, your heavenly Father will also forgive
you. But if you do not forgive men their
sins, your Father will not forgive your
sins; Matt 6:14-15
Servant Heart
I would like you to be free from concern.
An unmarried man is concerned about the
Lords affairs & how he can please the
Lord. But a married man is concerned about
the affairs of this world how he can please
his wife and his interests are divided.
An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned
about the Lords affairs: Her aim is to be
devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit.
But a married woman is concerned about the
affairs of this world how she can please
her husband. I am saying this for your own
good, not to restrict you but that you may
live in a right way in undivided devotion
to the Lord.
1 Cor 7:32 -35
The greatest among you will be your servant.
For whoever exalts himself will be humbled,
and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Matt 23: 11-12
Each one should use whatever gift he has
received to serve others, faithfully administering
God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
Prayer
The Lord heard my cry for mercy; the Lord
accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9 Therefore I
tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer,
believe that you have received it, and it
will be yours. Mark 11:24
Is anyone of you in trouble? He should pray.
Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise;
James 5:13
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction,
faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

Goals and
Objectives
1. To be faithful to the Great Commission
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by being
a significant and visible witness for Christ
in the Oley Valley; by having a stronger
evangelistic emphasis and outreach; by enlarging
our vision for an involvement in world evangelism;
and by sending forth laborers, by God's
direction and enabling, and standing with
them in prayer and in financial support
(Matthew 28: 18-20).
2. To be a caring church, with an openness
among the church family and the regular
and continual demonstration of genuine love
and concern and intercessory prayer for
one another (1 Corinthians 13:1-7).
3. To be a praying church with regular,
systematic and effectual private, family
and corporate worship, praise, thanksgiving
and intercessory prayer.
4. To disciple and train leaders for service
for Christ, so that there will be a competent
and capable staff of Christ-centered and
biblically knowledgeable teachers and counselors
as well as a large percentage of regular
attenders of the church involved in some
form of ministry or service for Christ (Colossians
1:28).
5. To have a strong emphasis on practical
Christian family living, with concern for
the encouragement of and fellowship with
singles, single parents, and broken families.
6. To have a strong emphasis on the development
of our youth with the development and maintenance
of an effective youth ministry and discipleship
program that will affect all aspects of
the lives of the youth that God has entrusted
to our care.
7. To continue and maintain faithful financial
stewardship and strong financial position
as God blesses and provides through His
people, and to properly invest His finances
in missions, local outreach ministry, and
facilities as He directs.
8. To maintain a significant and steady
growth in attendance as the Holy Spirit
leads and gives the increase, and to effectively
introduce each new member into the mainstream
of New Life Church II Corinthians 3:6).
