VISION
Our
vision is "Reaching and Touching
Lives for Jesus with Excellence”

CORE
VALUES
We value
• Excellence and believe that it
inspires people and glorifies God and
ought to characterize everything we do
• Spontaneity of Spirit-We are a
Spirit driven church, our worship is reflective
of this; we make no apologies for being
such.
• Creativity and innovation in everything
we do. We believe by faith that anything
can change. We see possibilities. We are
willing to try new things, go new places,
obtain new ground; we aid and encourage
those around us to do the same, for the
greater glory of God.
• Genuine friendship. As a church
we want to be warm and welcoming to visitors
and to care for and support each other,
just like a close family. We will try
to establish quality friendships and authentic
relationships with non-members.
• Prayer-We desire an intimate relationship
with our God, so we pray as individuals
and as a body.
• Stewardship of our time, talents,
and finances honors God
• Generosity- We will give of ourselves
sacrificially
• Accountability in doctrine and
Integrity-Maintaining an "Integrity
of Heart"
• Strong marriages that result in
strong families and healthy connections
• Holiness and righteousness for
without the holiness that is imputed upon
us by Jesus Christ, no one will see the
Father in Heaven.
• Development of servant leadership
for servant hood is inevitable if one
is to be effective in the Kingdom of God.
Servant hood comes before honor and we
will not be judged on how were served
but rather how we served Christ and his
people.
Worship
at Neema Gospel Church
The Bible tells us in John 4:23-24, “The
father seeks those who will worship Him
in Spirit and Truth” In Spirit means-This
involves our whole heart, soul, mind and
strength. At the same time, we are required
to worship in truth that is according to
the word of God. When we worship in God’s
way, it both pleases Him and sets us free.
1.
Praise Him with our tongues
Mouths: “I will greatly praise the
Lord with my mouth; Yea, I will praise Him
among the multitude” Psalms 109:30
Singing:
“Sing praises to God, sing praises,
sing praises unto our King” Psalms
47:6
“Teaching
& admonishing one another in psalms,
hymns and spiritual songs” Colossians
3:16 Shouting: “Cry out and shout,
thou inhabitants of Zion; for great us the
holy One of Israel in the midst of thee”
Isaiah 12:6
2.
Praise Him with our Bodies:
Praise ye the Lord, Praise ye the name of
the Lord, Praise Him, O ye servants of the
Lord, Ye that stand in the house of the
Lord, in the courts of the house of our
God” Psalms 135:1-2
Bowing
and Kneeling: “O come, let us worship
and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord
our maker” Psalms 95:6
Dancing:
“Praise Him with the timbrel and dance”
Psalms 150:4
3. Praise
with our Hands:
Clapping of hands: “O clap your hands,
all ye people; shout unto God with a voice
of triumph” Psalms 47:1
Lifting
up Hands: “Lift up your hands in the
sanctuary and bless the Lord” Psalms
134:2
“I will therefore that men pray everywhere,
lifting up holy hands, without wrath and
doubting”
1 Timothy 2:8
4.
Praising God with Musical Instruments:
Playing Instruments “Praise Him with
the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with
the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the
timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed
instruments and organs; praise Him upon
the loud cymbals; praise Him upon the high
sounding cymbals. Let everything that has
breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord”
Psalms 150:3-6
5.
Warfare Praise
“Let the high praises of God be in
their mouth like a two edged sword in their
hand…..” Psalms 149:6
“ When he had consulted with the people,
he appointed those who sang to the LORD
and those who praised Him in holy attire,
as they went out before the army and said,
" Give thanks to the LORD, for His
loving kindness is everlasting." 22
When they began singing and praising, the
LORD set ambushes …. (Against those),
who had come against Judah; so they were
routed 2 Chronicles 20:21-22
